Overview:
When viewing linked documents in Vault PromoMats and Medical, a permission error occurs: You do not have permission to view this document.
Root Cause:
A user will receive this error if they are not in a role with the permission of View Document and View Content in the Sharing Settings of the Linked Document.
If the user is not in a role with these permissions, then they will see the following error when clicking on the Linked Document:
If the user tries to access the document through the Relationship tab, they will see the following message:
Solution:
A user with the permission of Edit Sharing Settings on the Linked Document will need to update the Sharing Settings to add the affected user into a role with the permissions of View Document and View Content.
