A System Administrator performs a merge of two Accounts. After checking the Attendee records (Event_Attendee_vod, EM_Attendee_vod), the data present is still from the losing Account.
In order to avoid the engine to hit its own Governor Limits, Salesforce only changes on the lookup or Master-Detail fields of the child record of a losing Account without triggering an update action.
No Triggers, Workflows, Validations, etc. run for the merge process.
As no update action is triggered, the Trigger that updates the Account related fields on the Attendee records does not run.
Perform a manual update or perform a data load update to fix the data.
