Question:

Is it necessary to set the Media CRM Type field when Creating a Multichannel Slide in Vault?

Answer:

There are two options used when creating a Multichannel Slide.

1. If the user wants to upload a customized Distribution Package for a Multichannel Slide, the Media CRM Type field should not be set. Only Publish for Veeva CRM (CLM) or Publish for Veeva CRM (Portals) should be set to Yes.
   
   
2. If the user wants to use a Veeva Distribution Package for a Multichannel Slide created by Vault automatically, the Media CRM Type field should be set. Publish for Veeva CRM (CLM) or Publish for Veeva CRM (Portals) should also be set to Yes.
