Why is Vault Loader progress delayed during import to Vault?
Answer:
There are a variety of reasons as to why Vault Loader delays while in the process of completion. It is dependent upon:
- File Size of the Uploaded CSV
- Internet Connection of Uploader to Veeva Server
- Number of Documents or Rows in the CSV
Vault Loader acts as an API call directed to Veeva servers. The maximum batch size is 1000 per Call.
Example:
If a user updates 500,000 documents, it makes 500 separate API Calls. Each API Call is in sequential order, meaning that each Call waits for the last 1000 documents to finish their respective changes in order to continue with the next 1000 documents.
