Why is a document's Viewable Rendition larger than it's source file in Vault?
Answer:
This behavior is expected when a non-PDF source document is converted into PDF format. PDF files contain more information within them than Microsoft Office documents, especially fonts.
Conversely, some elements contained within a document are compressed or removed when the file is converted into PDF. In this case, users may observe a decrease in file size.
