Integration Users

 It is best practice to set your integration user passwords to "Never Expire." Otherwise, your integrations will fail when the passwords expire.

To initialize integration between Veeva CRM and a reporting, marketing or other system, you create an integration user in Veeva CRM. This user serves as the connection between the systems, allowing data to be retrieved from Salesforce.com. But if your integration user's password expires, then your integrations will fail. To prevent this, do the following:

  1. Create a profile for your integration user.
  2. Enable (check) the Passwords Never Expire flag.
