You can quickly check your offline device version directly from you iPad or Windows device! |
You can look at a user record or user report to ensure offline devices in the field are on the latest version of Veeva CRM. But, would it be nice if you could tell what version your device is on from within the device itself? Well, you can! And this is especially useful if you are testing new functionality in a Sandbox. Your app version can explain differences between Sandbox and Production, around the time of a patch or General Release. On the iPad, from the Home page tab, navigate to: Options --> General. You see the version along with the login name for the user you are currently logged in as, and you also see if there is an update available. If you have Windows devices, you can use the Settings Charm to see settings and admin features. To access the Settings Charm, swipe in from the right edge of your 8.1 device, or from the top on your Windows 10 Device. The General option shows you what version your Veeva CRM app is on.
