Question:
During a Network Account Search (NAS), the user can provide information using the Search Term and the Location field. Are these fields used together when a search is performed?
For example, by providing the name John Smith in the Search Term field, and London in the Location field, will it provide only those healthcare professionals (HCPs) with the name John Smith who work in London, or can it list every HCP named John Smith, as well as any HCPs who work in London?
Answer:
The Search Terms and Location fields are currently concatenated and sent to the Network API. Results are similar to Network UI where "john smith london" is provided. Therefore, every HCP named John Smith can be listed, as well as any HCPs who work in London. However, exact matches are prioritized on the list of search results, so if Veeva Network finds an HCP with this exact name and address, it is listed among the top search results.
