Question:
The user creates some local Data Change Requests (DCRs) using the DCR Generator in Veeva Network. These DCRs can be found in the Inbox as local DCRs.
When the user tries to export these DCRs by a Target Subscription, there is no DCR record in the resulting file. Why is this?
Answer:
This is working by design. DCR Generator and DCR Export / Import are two separate features.
- DCR Generator - Veeva uses this feature to create DCRs. A Third-Party System is blocked when creating a subscription of type DCR Generator.
- DCR Import / Export - Specifically designed for a Third-Party Data Provider. When creating a Target subscription of type DCR, only a Third-Party system is allowed.
