A user attempts to upload content directly to an existing Key Message record in Veeva CRM Online. It results in the following error:
An error occurred, please try again or upload the file using the data loader.
The cause of the issue can be the following:
- There is an active, custom Validation Rule on the Key Message object. It prevents the existing Key Message record from being saved again. The record meets the criteria of the custom validation rule causing it to fire.
- The media content zip already exists in the organization.
Do the following:
- Deactivate the custom Validation Rule or modify its criteria.
- Clear the Veeva Cache.
- Be sure not to upload the same media content zip twice.
