We are currently experiencing an issue with creating new support tickets from the Help Center portal. Some users are unable to select the appropriate form when submitting their tickets. We are working to resolve the issue.

Overview: 

Users are attempting to delete a record from the system and receive the error message: Resource and/or one or more of its children are used by one or more [documents].

While filtering for that record in the Library, no documents are referenced as having that record linked to the metadata of the document.

Root Cause: 

The record is linked to a past version of a document. Filters in the Library do not search on document metadata in past versions. The filtering in the Library only searches for records in document metadata in the latest version of a document. 

Solution: 

To search for linked metadata records on all versions of documents, users can run a report on the documents. Filter on that field with that particular record value they need to delete. Once the report shows which document version links to that record, the user needs to unlink the record from the document metadata before successfully deleting the record.
