Why are users receiving Task Reminder Notifications for multiple time frames at once?
This scenario can occur when a workflow has multiple reminders configured on it.
Reminders are set for different time frames:
- 24 hours prior to the due date and 48 hours prior to the due date
- The task due date is set for less than 24 hours
In this example, Vault sends both the 24-hour and 48-hour notifications. This is because Vault designates an entry for each notification that it needs to send out and only removes those entries after the notification is sent. When the due date is set to less than the notification trigger dates, Vaults sends out all notifications that satisfy the time frame.
