Question:

How to use bulk action to update the state of multiple Vault documents?

Answer:

Vault Owner or System Admin needs to add the change state user action. Then use bulk action to change documents states:

1. Confirm the document lifecycle and state.
   
   
2. Go to Admin --> Configuration --> Document Lifecycles --> [Document Lifecycle]
   --> States --> [State] --> User Actions tab.
   
   
3. Add the Change State user action according to the request.
   
   
   
   
4. Filter the documents in Libray.
   
   
5. Click the gear bar then select the All xxx Documents.
   
   
   
   
6. Confirm the documents then click Next button.
   
   
   
   
7. Select Change State option then click Next button.
   
   
   
   
8. Select the appropriate change state option of proper lifecycle then click Next button.
   
   
9. Click the Finish button.
   
   
   
   
10. Confirm the states of documents are changed.
