Two new Zoom security features will require users to make updates to continue using the Engage application.
- Meeting Encryption: requires that users' app version be updated to 201.10.20 or newer.
- Reps and HCPs must be on the latest version by May 30th to start/join meetings.
- Meeting Passwords: Zoom will require all meetings to be password protected. In order to avoid disruption, customers must enable password-protected meetings and add the password token to their Engage Meeting invitations and reminders before mid-August 2020 (20R2). Configuration steps here.
Field users must upgrade Veeva CRM on iOS and the Windows Host App to 201.10.20 before May 30th. HCPs must upgrade the Veeva Engage iOS and Android apps to 201.10.30 before May 30th. The Web Client is auto-upgraded, so no action needed. The HCP Windows app (used for 1% of meetings) auto-upgrades upon launch.
