Overview:
The following error occurs when performing the user action Create Related Document or Binder Option on a document: Unable to set field values on Related Document for the following fields: null.
Root Cause:
There are non-populated required fields on the source document.
Solution:
Users who have Edit Field permission enabled need to populate all the required fields on the source document.
The Create Related Document or Binder action is only available in Vault PromoMats and Vault Medical. This action allows users to simultaneously create a new document or binder and a relationship from a source document.
Example:
When a document enters an Approved state, users can choose to create a new document along with the necessary outbound relationship to the source document.
