Question:

How to render PPTX Files with an embedded EMF image in PromoMats?

Answer:

Vault fails to render PPTX files with an embedded EMF image. To resolve the issue, convert the EMF image to a different file type, such as:  JPG, JPEG or PNG.

Follow the steps below to locate the EMF images.

  1. Right-click the PPTX file and choose to extract the file to a folder.
  2. Navigate to ppt --> media within this folder.

  3. Locate the EMF images (.emf files) in the media folder.

  4. Re-save EMF images as JPG, JPEG or PNG files and then upload and render the PPTX files again in PromoMats.
