Question:
In the Standard Metrics section, there is a field called Days to Approval of which the value is automatically calculated by the system. How is the field calculated?
Answer:
In the attached 20R2 Standard Metrics FAQ document, it is described as below:
Days to Approval – The cumulative time (in days) between the job creation date and when it entered the system Steady State for the first time.
To further elaborate on it, the Standard Metrics field calculation is in the context of a Document Version.
Days to Approval is from Initial Steady State Date minus Document Version Created Date (the date the first or new document version is uploaded).
Examples:
- Document A: Document Version 0.3 was uploaded on 10/8/2020 2:09:22 PM and Approved at 12/8/2020 2:59:45 PM. This is over 2 days (48 hours). The field is populated with 2.
- Document B: Document Version 1.1 is uploaded on 12/8/2020 3:03:38 PM and Approved on 12/8/2020 3:04:22 PM. As it is less than 24 hours (1 day = 24 hours), the field is populated with 0, not 1.
