Question:
Why does the Limit_Quantity_vod__c field in the EM_Business_Rule_vod__c object show the Event Business Rule warning when a record is created after the Business rule limit has been reached?
Example: The limit quantity field for the Cross-Event Meal Opt-In Attendance Limit Rule has been reached for an Account Attendee. When the Account has been added to attend another Event the Business Rule Warning will occur despite not having opted into another meal.
Answer:
The Limit Quantity Field does not differentiate between whether an Event violates a Business Event Rule or not.
Instead the Limit Quantity field calculates how many times the Business Rule is allowed to occur. Once those specifications are reached the warning will occur in all future created records until the Date Threshold has been reached.
