Overview:

The user cannot import an eCTD submission with the error: The dossier format import parameter is invalid, insufficent permission.

Root Cause:

This may be caused by the following reason.

The Dossier Format field of the Submission object is set as eCTD which is a Controlled Vocabulary object record. In order to import an eCTD dossier submission for the submission record, the user needs to read permission on application__v.folder_name__v field and submission__v.xml_submission_id__v field. In this use case, the user does not have the read permission on these two fields.

Solution:

  1. The Vault Owner needs to grant the user read permission on the application__v.folder_name__v and submission__v.xml_submission_id__v fields.
  2. Import the submission.
