The term Historical Data generally refers to old data existing in Veeva Align. The term is used in case of data related errors or Product Issues. Historical Data may also refer to data existing in a previous release, as its data integrity may change. In order to resolve specific issues, it may be required to remove or resave the data.
Resaving refers to editing and saving records in Veeva Align. It is used for refreshing the records and troubleshooting purposes. Using the Align Dataloader or sometimes Vault Loader to upsert or update the records are the equivalents of this action.
