How to create a custom role in CDMS?
Answer:
There are two ways to create a custom role in CDMS.
Create the Role
- Navigate to Tools > System Tools > Role Management.
- Click +New Role.
- Enter a Name for the new role. (this Name must be unique at the vault level)
- Click Save.
- Select the permission for this role in the Standard Tabs, Permissions, and Custom Objects sections.
- Click Save.
Copy from Existing Role
- Navigate to Tools > System Tools > Role Management.
- Click +New Role.
- Enter a Name for the new role. (this Name must be unique at the vault level)
- Select a role in Copy from Role.
- Click Save.
- Select the permission for this role in the Standard Tabs, Permissions, and Custom Objects sections.
- Click Save.
