How do document attachments work after document reclassification in Vault PromoMats?

Answer:

When a document is reclassified, the Attachment section works based on the features enabled in the new Document Type.

To view the current set up, navigate to Admin > Configuration > Document Type > [Document Type].

• If Inherit from "Base Document": Allow attachments is enabled then it will inherit its value from the parent level in the document type hierarchy.
  
  
• If Allow attachments feature is enabled in the document type, attachments can be uploaded and downloaded.
  
  
• If the Do not allow attachments feature is enabled attachments continue to display and can be downloaded. However, new attachments cannot be uploaded to the document.
