Which users are considered the Align Integration Users and CRM Connection User in Veeva Align?

Answer:

The CRM Connection user provides a connection between Align and CRM and it is responsible for the authentication process.

CRM Connection Users must have the following requirements in order to correctly integrate with an Align instance:

• A Salesforce license
• A language of English in CRM
• At least Read access to the following CRM objects:
• Account
• Address_vod
• Child_Account_vod
• Product_Metrics_vod
• Territory
• User

The Align Integration user is responsible for daily processing jobs in Align. Certain processing jobs need to use a Vault User Account to read and update Vault records. This is a customer-defined Vault Owner User. The Align Admin User must not be used as an Align Integration User, because it is responsible for Align release deployments.
