How to complete a Workflow Task on an earlier document version in Vault PromoMats and Vault Medical?

Answer:

When a workflow is started on a document, and a user creates a draft while this workflow is active, it is not possible to complete a task on the latest document version.

There are two ways to complete a task that is on an earlier version: 

  • The user checks the workflow to confirm what version the workflow was started on. The user then goes to the Version History to access that version to complete the task.

  • The user accesses Tasks -> My Tasks to complete the workflow task.
