Question:
What happens to Veeva Align accounts which are deleted in Veeva CRM?
Answer:
In the event, an Account record gets soft or hard deleted in CRM, the following happens to the record during an Import from CRM job, in Align:
- The crm_is_deleted__aln field of the Account record is set to true. It is not deleted.
- The status__v field value of the Account record is set to inactive__v. It is not deleted.
- The crm_is_deleted__aln field of all associated Address, Product Metrics, and Parent HCO records is set to true. They are not deleted.
- The status__v field value of the of all associated Address, Product Metrics, and Parent HCO records is set to inactive__v. They are not deleted.
- All related Account Territory Assignments of the Account are end-dated. (Not Inactivated/Deleted).
