Question:
Auto Claims Linking allows users to automate the generation of reference links on claim statements in promotional materials. Only Claims in the Approved state are available for use in suggesting links.
If a Claim record gets reverted from Approved to Draft, what happens to all the Suggested Links and references already created from that Claim?
Answer:
Nothing.
The status of the Claim record only impacts the creation of Suggested Links going forward. Any changes to the Claim have no impact on existing Suggested Links or to Link Annotations created from accepted Suggestions.
Example:
In the following document, Claim record CL-000005 is linked and the status of the Claim record is Approved and the Product is Hello Test. As shown in the screenshot, the Suggested Link and Remove Suggested Link icons are in the left top corner.
Change the status of the Claim to Draft as well as the Product and Match Text.
After the change, the Suggested Link and Remove Suggested Link icons disappear in the document. When hovering over the claim, it shows the updated Product and Match Text.
