Question:
How to update the Site's Country in Vault CDMS?
Answer:
In Vault CDMS once a Site has been created, all the Site's information can be updated, except for the country.
If a Site has been created under the wrong country, there are two scenarios, for both of them the POC or the customer-designated contact (for example the Lead Data Manager) needs to perform the following action:
1. If the Site has no subject, the Site can be deleted.
2. If the Site has subjects, in order to correct the information, the steps to take are:
- Update the wrong Site Name with "Do Not Use".
- Create the new Site with the right Country.
- Transfer the subjects from the old Site to the new Site via EDC Tools --> Casebook Versions --> Active versions by Site --> Select the Site --> Select the Subjects --> Transfer Subject.
- Delete the old Site.
- Update the Site access field for any Users that were previously assigned to the old Site.
