Question:
During Mass/Test Assignment, How are Accounts Selected Based on the Include In Territory Assignment and Primary Fields of the Address object in Veeva CRM?
Answer:
The Test/Mass Assignment process queries existing Addresses in Zip to Terr/Brick to Terr records.
The logic is as follows concerning these two fields:
- In the event, the Primary_vod__c field is checked on the Address record, the Test Assignment / Mass Assignment process will consider the Address record.
- In the event, the Primary_vod__c field is not checked, but the Include_in_Territory_Assignment_vod__c field is checked, the Test Assignment / Mass Assignment process will consider the Address record.
- In the event, the Primary_vod__c field is not checked, and the Include_in_Territory_Assignment_vod__c field is not checked, the Test Assignment / Mass Assignment process will not consider the Address record.
- If both fields are checked, the Test Assignment / Mass Assignment process will consider the Address record.
Note: Exclusion from Mass Assignment / Test Assignment can be configured at the Account level via the IsExcludedFromRealign and/or Exclude_from_Zip_to_Terr_Processing_vod__c fields located on the Account object. The Exclude_from_Zip_to_Terr_Processing_vod__c field involves not only Zip to Terr but Brick to Terr records.
