Question:

What elements are copied over when a Vault Sandbox is created (cloned)? Can the list of copied configurations and records be changed? Who can authorize the change if so? 

Answer:

Vault Help contains the current rules, and these current rules cannot be influenced directly by customers or by Support.

The cloning rules concerning Objects can be updated, based on the business justification, and Product Management can influence the rules.

Note: Open a ticket to Product Support to request the changes along with your justification or to get updates on the current rules of cloning.

Changes to the behavior are planned to serve the testing purposes of our Customers better. Veeva notes any updates to the Sandboxing feature in the Release Notes in Vault Help.
