Why Formula(Text) fields are not displayed in the picklist of the MC Cycle Channel Criteria in Veeva Align?
This applies to the Channel Template and the MC Cycle creation pages.
Answer:
This is due to scenario described in the following article, see Why is the Formula(Text) Field not Displayed in the Picklist of the MC Cycle Channel Criteria in CRM Online?
Due to these fields not supported in the CRM MCCP functionality, the solution is to use custom fields (e.g Text) and customisation (e.g custom triggers) in order to stamp the values. After that, the non-formula fields can be used in the MC Cycle Channel criteria.
Notes:
- Customization is not within the scope of Veeva Support.
- There are other special fields falling into this category.
