How to check out a document via Vault File Manager?
Answer:
Vault File Manager can only be used if users have the appropriate permissions and the Provision File Manager from Vault feature is enabled.
The below permissions control actions related to Vault File Manager:

Users can check out a document via Vault File Manager by following these steps:
- From the document Actions menu, select Check Out to File Manager.
When the user is not already logged into Vault File Manager, Vault prompts them to do so.
- Documents are automatically downloaded. A progress bar shows the document's download progress, and the file automatically opens in the assigned application once the download is complete.
Whenever a document is edited, it must be saved to the same location. Vault File Manager is not be able to check in a file if it is moved to another location.
