Question:
In 21R3, a new function, Document Level Rendition Type Selector for Single Doc Publishing for CLM Content, is introduced. With this function, users can select a rendition type in the CRM Rendition Overrides field to override the default rendition type for CLM content configured in the CRM Rendition Settings (Admin --> Settings).
If the wrong rendition type is selected for the CRM Rendition Override field, what happens?
Example: A file is a Video, but instead of Single-Slide Video, Multi-slide Presentation is selected for the CRM Rendition Overrides field. Can the document be synced to CRM?
Answer:
If the wrong rendition is selected, Vault does not take the default CRM Rendition and the document cannot be synced to CRM. Users receive an Incompatible CRM Rendition specified notification (shown below) and email if the CRM Content is set to Yes.
