Answer:

For Chinese, Japanese, and Korean names, display the last name before the first name.

If Language and Locale are set to any of the countries mentioned above in a profile, the first and last name of name__v are swapped.
Example:

If English is used, name__v is Veeva Systems, but if it is set to Japanese, name__v is Systems Veeva.

To solve the issue, customers should change the Language and Locale.
