Why is there an Error when Resetting the Support Portal Password?
Answer:
The issue has to do with Google Chrome blocking cookies.
Organizations can prevent a user from updating Google Chrome settings. In this instance, the user needs to use another browser (i.e. Mozilla Firefox) to reset their Support Portal password. If a user is able to update the Google Chrome settings, use the following instructions:
- Open Chrome Settings.
- Open Security and Privacy.
- Click Cookies and other site data.
- Be sure that Allow all cookies is selected.
Once these settings are updated, the Forgot Password form should work correctly.
