Answer:
Veeva Align and any Veeva Align related processes - For example, Import from CRM, Assignment Preview, Commit, Push to CRM - consider the values of the start/end date time fields, not the values of the start/end date fields.
The date time fields are auto calculated, long formatted date values based on the Primary Timezone of the associated country__aln record.
It is recommended to consider the date time fields in queries especially while troubleshooting date-related data issues.
