Question:
What are the currently supported Data Change Request configurations?
Answer:
The currently available Data Change Request (DCR) configurations are as follows:
- Decoupled DCRs: DCRs that are created and do not leave CRM for review of approval or rejection. This requires the custom Veeva Setting Data Change Request Mode:1 and custom Network Setting Customer Master Mode:0
- DCRs that integrate with Network: DCRs that are created and go to Network for review of approval or rejection. This requires the custom Veeva Setting Data Change Request Mode:1 and custom Network Setting Customer Master Mode:1
- DCRs that integrate with an external system other than Network: DCRs that are created and go to an external system other than Network for review of approval or rejection. This requires the custom Veeva Setting Data Change Request Mode:1, custom Network Setting Customer Master Mode:0, and a configured Veeva Message THIRD_PARTY_MANAGED_ACCOUNT_TYPES that points to the corresponding custom Network Setting
- DCRs and Unverified Record Creation: DCRs that are created and go to Network for review of approval or rejection and the records are created at the same time to allow the user to act upon them while the DCR is pending approval or rejection. This DCR configuration is only available with Veeva Network. This requires the custom Veeva Setting Data Change Request Mode:2 and custom Network Setting Customer Master Mode:1.
- Decoupled Unverified Records: Users can create and immediately use decoupled unverified accounts, addresses, and child account records to log a call, or use decoupled unverified new records for an existing account. This requires custom Veeva Setting Data Change Request Mode: 2 and custom Network Setting Customer Master Mode: 0.
