Why is There One Hour Delay for Saved/Scheduled Sent Emails Records in Veeva CRM?
Answer:
This is the expected behaviour. This is a safety check in place and its intention is to prevent emails to be sent out in the event they are created within an hour when the AE scheduled job runs. Once the hour time passes, the email will be sent out when the Approved Email Processes Job runs.
This is applied to Sent Emails having the scheduled_vod or saved_vod Status_vod__c values.
In case of Scheduled Emails (scheduled_vod), when the Scheduled Date Time has already passed, one hour needs to pass again. After the one-hour time interval, the Approved Email Processes job will send the email out.
