How to check if a task is completed via Delegate Access within the Workflow History Report in PromoMats?
Answer:
The Workflow History Report allows a user to see a quick summary of who has completed specific workflow tasks during a document version’s lifecycle.
Workflow History Report captures only the Task Owner from the Information Pane, but not the field Task Completed By.
If a task is completed via Delegate Access mode, this is not reflected in the Workflow History Pane. In such a situation, the task shows completed by the Task Owner and not the user who completed it via delegate access.
In order to track the user who completed the task, follow the steps below:
- From the All Actions menu, select Workflow History Report.
- Click on the Edit pencil on the right-hand side of the report then select Edit Columns.
- Add the field Task Completed By and click OK.
- By running the report, the field Task Completed By shows the name of the user who completed the task as expected.
The user can export the results to Text, Excel or CSV if this is needed.
