Question:
In 22R1, a new feature, Copy from Document, is introduced. With this feature, users can copy text from a document in View or Annotate mode, hold down the C key and select the text with the cursor, then release the C key and mouse button to copy.
However, when trying to copy a large number of words such as the whole page, the text cannot be selected all at a time. What is the limitation of the number of words when copying text from a document?
Answer:
The limitation is around 200 words. It can sometimes appear that selection is limited to fewer than 200 words because Vault's text detection logic sometimes splits words that contain punctuation into multiple words. Also, note that this same limitation is applied when selecting text for a text-select annotation.
