The same presentation appears differently when displayed on iPad versus the Veeva CRM Desktop app, why is that?
Differences in rendering engines on iPad, CRM Desktop, and CRM for Windows can create slight differences in rendering on different devices. For example, CLM on iOS uses Mobile Webkit, CLM on Windows uses Internet Explorer 11, and the Engage Media Desktop Player uses Webkit for Windows. Veeva recommends using HTML best practices to build content that can be viewed across a wide variety of browsers/devices, and testing the presentations in sandbox on the target devices. Different HTML editor applications can also provide more accurate representations of how content displays on different devices.
Content created via Vault's Create Presentation and Single-Doc Publishing addresses these inconsistencies and renders the presentation correctly in the CRM Engage media player and iPad.
