Question:

Why is the Upload Package ID field not populated on a RIM Submissions record?

Answer:

After using Vault File Manager to create a submission, the Upload Package ID field does not appear populated on the submission record.  This is expected as part of the Vault File Manager import design.  When an upload is initiated, the Upload Package ID (upload_package_id__v) field gets auto-populated, and then cleared from the submission record upon successful upload or cancellation.  Both of these system actions are recorded in the submission record's audit trail.
