Need understanding of MyInsights capabilities

Dear Veeva team,

I am evaluating the possibility to implement MyInsights for the field force in our organization.

Reading the documentation: https://crmhelp.veeva.com/doc/Content/CRM_topics/My_Insights/Overview.htm I need some more information to evaluate the potencial use of it.

1) Reviewing the JavaScripts libraries 1.0 and 2.0, seems that CLM, Multichannel and Custom SFDC object are supported. Is this correct?

2) Is it supported the integration of custom data that is not in CRM in the reports and burst them into the HTML report?

3) If we enable it for First Line Manager, would it be possible to get the aggregation data in this reports and add the different reps in the territory as filters?

4) In a potencial implementation, are the reports going to be available online for analysis purpose for the Managers?

Thanks.

Carlos

    Hi Carlos,

Thanks for the questions. Let me add some additional clarifications to the above.

    1) We recommend to use MyInsights Library (2.0) for developing MyInsights reports. Both Veeva CRM objects and custom objects are supported.

    2) If you wish to report off of custom data sources, we recommend loading the data in a custom object prior to doing so.

    3) Is this a use case for mobile platform, online or both?

    3) We are evaluating use cases for the online platform at the moment. There are currently two available modules available on the online platform: 1) KOL profile 2) Account Plan (newly released in 17R2).

For more information on the online use cases, see the following pages:

    KOL HTML Summary Profile: https://crmhelp.veeva.com/doc/Content/CRM_topics/Medical/KOLHTMLSummaryProfile.htm

    Account Plan: https://crmhelp.veeva.com/doc/Content/CRM_topics/Accounts/Account_Planning_and_Execution/AccountPlanDashboard.htm

PS: Thanks USACD for jumping in!

Will try to answer you, since Veeva did not it yet:

    1) Yes.

    2) Not directly. Data outside of Veeva should be imported there before. But there are other ways to integrate it.

    3) Yes.

    4) Not out of the box, but a custom solution can be created.
