Ability to scan barcode when sampling with iRep

Quite often the reps sample the wrong lot/batch and it causes confusion on inventory balance. If we are able to scan the product lot/batch at the time of sample drop it can validate and ensure proper lot/batch is dropped.

    Hi Narasimhan and Josh,

    Thank you for your suggestion. As mobile devices have now improved their cameras a lot in the last 2 years, this is something we are considering for our future roadmap for our mobile versions of Veeva CRM. There are multiple use cases for it, sampling for HCP, but also store checks in pharmacies etc. Stay tuned!

    This would also be useful for Order Management and possibly for Inventory Monitoring.
