Read Source Document through Java SDK

Hi Team,
Is it possible to read the content of source document through Java SDK? source document will be in excel format.
Basically the source document will contain the meta data information of new documents needs to created in vault. could you suggest any service available to achieve this?
Can you provide more details on CSV read service, can we fetch the csv files from vault and read the content of it?

Downloading the content of a file in Java SDK is not supported. We recommend building an external integration using the REST API to handle this use case.
