How can we track documents sent vs viewed in Approved Email?

We've been trying to create reporting specific to which Documents (fragments) are being sent in approved email and how many of those were viewed by the recipient. There doesn't seem to be a reference from Email Activity object to the Sent Documents object. Is there a way to do this?

    Hello Steve,

    Status_vod captures the status of the email delivery. You can also track Email Activity at the Email Fragment Level:

    Click-throughs can be tracked at the email fragment level allowing content administrators to gain further insight into what kind of content is accessed most frequently.

    A lookup field on the Email Activity object to the Approved Document object enables users to view which email fragment is generating click-throughs.
