Getting error in Vault Loader while creating document with Content from FTP

Hi,

I am trying to create new document with content from FTP using vault loader.

So I have prepared the CSV file . Kept the content file in the FTP.

But I am getting error saying "Cannot create document : source file [documents/viewable_rendition__v.pdf] not found.".

Can you please help me where I am doing wrong with the FTP configuration?

    Hi Joydeep,

You could try adding the forward slash e.g. /documents/viewable_rendition__v.pdf.

    Hi Joydeep,

Are you using the same Vault DNS and Vault Username to connect to both the FTP site and to the Vault UI for the file upload, i.e. training-lab-0891.veevavault.com and amy.admin-0891@training.com respectively?

    Regards

    Hi John,

Yes I am using the same account in both FTP and Vault Web .

    Hi Joydeep,

It's most likely that the error is because your user is not a Vault Owner or System Admin as only these users access the root folder directly. Instead the document is likely to be in a sub folder corresponding to your userid (i.e. 2450579). Hence for the file value in the csv try using the value /u2450579/documents/viewable_rendition__v.pdf instead.

    Regards

    Hi John,

Excellent ! you were spot on. I was missing the user id in the file path while populating the CSV.

    Thank you very much !!
