Yes! This is also on UCB's enhancement list. It is frustrating that there is no option to add documents directly into a section. The only option is to add to the parent binder and then drag them each individually into the section. In some cases, we have built a sub-binder just to make the adding easier, but it is disappointing to have to revert to the challenges of managing sub-binders instead of taking advantage of sections.

Thank you for your feedback. I totally agree this would be a helpful change. It is already in our list of enhancements, but it's not a high priority for this year as it stands.

I will keep it in mind should we free up any time for a few delighters in 19R2 or 19R3

This will definitely make a lot of users happy. Would be a good holiday present if this gets added to 19R3 :-)

    Adam,

We don't want the "Add Existing Documents" to be removed from the Add dropdown, but it would be great if it can also be added to the existing binder section dropdown since that's literally the only option missing. If we wanted to add existing documents to multiple binder sections, then the user can go to the Add menu. However, if we just wanted to add existing docs to a binder section, having it available in the binder section menu just saves time and dragging.

To others hoping for this enhancement, I recently discovered that our desired action is possible in the List View, just not in the Outline View that many of us prefer to work in (as evidenced by other enhancement requests asking that Outline View be the default view, or that the system remember the user's preference). In List View, you can click on a binder section to open just that section. Once you are viewing the section, the main gear wheel options for the section offer you Add > Existing Documents.

We may find time to add this for the 20R3 release, just so you know.
