VMOC for Medical

Hi there!

I've been trying to build VMOC that allows our MSL's to view hospitals in the medical app, but have not been successful. They need to see people accounts (business professional and professional records) and hospitals. I've tried the following:

Where (RecordTypeId != '012n0000000Cog1' AND RecordTypeId != '01212000000GkiW' AND RecordTypeId !='01212000000Gkib')

Where (RecordTypeId != '012n0000000Cog1' OR RecordTypeId != '01212000000GkiW' OR RecordTypeId !='01212000000Gkib')

Both of these yielded no results on the app, so I've had to go back to having only one record type: Where (RecordTypeId "= '012o0000000bTcq')

Any suggestions?

    Hi Brittany,

    In order to download Accounts that have specific Record Types, you could try one of the following approaches. Please make sure that you use the 18-digit SFDC Id of the Record Types in both cases.

    WHERE RecordTypeId NOT IN ('ID1','ID2','ID3') - this will query all the Accounts with a Record Type that does not match the ones listed in the WHERE clause.

    WHERE RecordTypeId IN ('ID1','ID2','ID3') - while this WHERE clause will produce a result of Accounts that have a matching Record Type from the list in parentheses.

    Hope this helps, let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

    thanks,

    Hi again Brittany,
    Another way would be to use one of our variables in your WHERE clause that will replace the name of the Record Type with the Id, that might come in handy in case of migrating VMOCs from one org to another, where the Ids will not be the same.
    Simply use @@VOD_RECORDTYPE_ID:Account.RecordType@@ instead of the actual Ids in your query to achieve the same results.
    You can read more about @@VOD_RECORDTYPE_ID@@ here - https://crmhelp.veeva.com/doc/Content/CRM_topics/General/Sync/SynchronizationSpeed.htm

    Thanks, Arpad! I've tried these options, and they work, but they don't populate the list view. What am I missing?

    Hi Brittany,

    That might be something related to how your Account Views are configured. You can find more information about Views and Lists following this link - https://crmhelp.veeva.com/doc/Content/CRM_topics/Accounts/My_Accounts/Account_Lists_and_Views.htm

    If that doesn't answer your questions or solve your issue, please create a support ticket with all the details and our Product Support Team will take a look and identify the cause.

    thanks,

    Arpad
