Recently we ran into an issue where the Lifecycle stage was implemented in Promomats Suite.
This led to change in 2 document fields for all the affected documents as mentioned in the Help Doc, which eventually triggered the last modified Date.
The CLM integration Hourly job picked up all the documents by last modified Date (75K Docs in our case ) and never got successful. The job was never successful in 1 hour and the next hourly sync got triggered, as a result, the jobs got piled up and APIs crossed the burst limit and daily limit as well.
The issue has been fixed permanently via stopping the hourly jobs and raising the API limit.
Product Suggestion Needed :
1. The CLM integration Hourly job should never run if the previous job is still Pending.
It should run only if the result of the previous hourly Job is Successful or Failed.
2. In the Promomats Suite, the CRM publishing tab does not gives End Result as Successful or Failed. The promomats should have the feature where if a User manually clicks the CRM Publishing Tab and once the job is completed , the status of the job should display Pending/Completed/ Failed as it shows in Veeva CRM side.
3. The Veeva CRM shows only 10 jobs at one go for CLM publishing. This should show all historic jobs as well. This will give a clear idea ,how many jobs have been triggered and how many are in queue.
