I am looking into configuration options to surface documents that expire and need to be renewed, such as a doctor's medical license or certification. I have reached out to the CSM but am not receiving clear guidance on what Veeva's best practice or standard configuration would be to account for this scenario. Is there anything you can share?
We have a custom Expiration Date document metadata field but it does not seem there is a workflow such as that mentioned in the 'About Document Expiration' help article that updates the status or sends notifications so we are left with insufficient reporting. Is this just a gap in our configuration or is there no standardized way to track, update and report on renewable documents?
